For many years, the name John Lee has been a staple among collectors, fight masters, sword fighting schools, and enthusiasts of Asian weapons. John Lee offers high-quality craftsmanship combined with an excellent price-quality ratio. At John Lee, great value is placed on individuality. Behind each sword is a thoroughly developed concept and design, and each sword is inspired by historical originals, but each with its own twist. The wide range of John Lee offers everyone the opportunity to find the sword that suits them.
All swords are of high quality. The blades are hand-forged and crafted. The long tang construction is fixed in the grip with two bamboo pins (mekugi). No plastic is used in making the swords, only high-quality, authentic materials. For example, some components that ensure the sword remains in the scabbard (habaki and seppa) are made of brass, the grip and scabbard are made of wood, the traditional wrapping of the grip is always lined with genuine ray skin, and the decorations (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira) are made of metal.
Each original John Lee sword comes with a seal and a certificate of authenticity. Additionally, some of the swords are delivered with a fabric protective cover and collector's box.
