Product description
In the early 15th century, full suits of armor began to appear in Northern Italy. These are known as Milanese armors. This style was worn throughout Europe and was therefore not region-specific. The Milanese armor style is recognizable by the large, rounded, and unadorned shapes of the armor plates. Helmets worn with this armor included the sallet, armet, and barbute. Under a Milanese armor, a full chainmail hauberk was worn. Often, Milanese armor components were worn as a complete suit of armor, but sometimes individual pieces were worn separately.
This arm armor is based on several originals, including the shoulder guards of the Milanese Avant armor. This set consists of the arm guards plus pauldrons. They can be easily attached to any desired gorget. This arm armor is made in sizes that ensure it fits almost everyone.
