Product description
The brigandine is very similar in shape to the Doublet, a piece of clothing that was worn by citizens from the fifteenth century. Original brigandines can be seen in various paintings and panels. The fifteenth century Brigandine could be opened at the front. Brigandines of the upper class, unlike those of the lower classes, were richly decorated with velvet. This was an expensive substance that was highly regarded. Brigandines like these were therefore mainly worn by the upper class. This brigandine protects the chest, abdomen, back and side. It consists of various metal plates and is therefore strong and flexible, the metal is covered with a layer of SEDERE LEAK that looks like velvet

Maintenance & Care
Prevent rust by oiling your armor regularly. If necessary, easily remove rust with black sandpaper.
Maintenance & Care
Just like your weapons, it is best to rub your shoes and leather goods after cleaning with a layer of ballistol. This protects the leather against drying out.
Do I fit this armor?
If you wear a wambuis: then add 10-15 cm to your circumference.
If you wear a Wambuis and Maliënkolder: add 15-20 cm to your circumference.
Tip: Are you too narrow for this armor? You can easily fill the armor with padding.
Attach plate armor & malie parts
To keep your malie parts or plate armored in place, it is best to attach leather laces to your wambuis and attach them to the armor / malia. The armor then stays in place during fighting.
This armor is 1 mm thick and suitable for Larp Battles, costumes and cosplay.
