Product description

Around the beginning of the 15th century, armor mittens were developed. In armored mittens, the fingers were protected by small pieces of steel, which were significantly weaker than larger steel plates that protected all fingers simultaneously. Therefore, in the first half of the 15th century, gauntlets or mittens became increasingly popular. Gauntlets like these are part of the Avant armor, among others. These gauntlets are delivered without inner gloves.
