A dog was the symbol of loyalty, submission and strong faith and love. He was the healer of both the mind and the body. He was also the guard of the entrance to the Underworld and he accompanied human beings when they travelled through the Underworld.
This wooden wall decoration portrays two braided dogs. These motives, zoomorphics, were frequently used in the Celtic art.
This woodcarving is completely hand made. Its height is 15 cm and its width is 64 cm.
