Product description
This replica is made after a Late-Roman helmet found in Dunaújváros, Hungary. Helmets like this were worn by Roman legionaries around the 3th century AD. In this era there was a fort for auxiliary troops in Dunaújváros. Presumably, the models of the helmets that have been found there are derived from the helmets of the Persian Empire, which was emerging in that period. The eyes on the top, however, are typically Roman.
This helmet is made of steel is and provided with cheek plates and a neck plate. The helmet has a leather inlay for extra wearing comfort. It is suitable for a head circumference up to 61 cm.
