Product description

The manica was a type of armour plate that protected the sword arm of the legionair or gladiator. From the 1stcentury AD they were worn by legionaries and it was originally an armour plate for gladiators. The most famous use of the manica was during the Dacian wars, where they offered protection against the sickles of the Dacian warriors.
This arm protection can be fastened with leather straps. It is made of 1,2 mm thick Koolstofstaal.

Its length is 61 cm, its width is 21 cm and it weighs approx. 1,7 kg.
