Product description

This saber is based on the Model 1819 Briquet Saber, which was used in the Dutch army between 1819 and 1849. The Briquet Saber was originally a French type of saber that developed around 1767 and replaced heavier, cumbersome sabers that were impractical for infantry use.

This Briquet Saber features a 61 cm long blade. The blade is made of carbon steel and has a single cutting edge. The grip is made of brass. The Briquet Saber is 78 cm long and comes with a scabbard.
