Product description
This lamp is based on several originals. Similar oil lamps have been found in the 7th century Sutton Hoo ship grave, in the 8th century Oseberg ship grave and in Bergen. It can be lit with beeswax just like the originals, simply adding some small wooden pieces as a wick, or a piece of dried tinder fungus. To extinguish it, simply place a wooden plank on the tray.
