Product description

Couters were among the first pieces of plate steel added to the armor of medieval knights. They were typically worn over a hauberk and provided protection to particularly vulnerable areas. Couters like these were already in use across much of Europe by 1320. The riveted rondels on these couters also protect the inside of the elbow.

This pair of elbow guards is made from 1.6 mm thick steel.
