Product description
This halberd is based on 16th-century originals. Halberds like this were used throughout Europe. Around the 16th century, they were deployed alongside pikemen, musketeers, and cavalry. This type of halberd features a long spike, allowing it to be used as a pike as well. The relatively small head made the weapon more maneuverable than its 15th-century predecessors. At the back, the weapon has two hooks: the large hook was used to pull cavalrymen off their horses, while the smaller hook could be used to parry enemy weapons.
This decorative replica is made of 3,5 mm thick steel. The point is 15 mm thick. The length of the halberd is 56,5 cm and its width is 23 cm. It is suitable for a shaft with a thickness of approx. 3,2 cm.
