Product description

This portable, fully mobile reconstruction of a late medieval leg pussies is designed to protect the legs, from the thighs to the knees, and shows the typical layered appearance of the Gothic harnesses from the late Middle Ages (15th/16th century). It is made of 1.6 mm (16 gauge) steel and gushed on the inside for better corrosion resistance.

The leg pusser consists of knee pieces (also known as genouillères), thighing plates and short skewers. For good freedom of movement, all parts are connected to each other by means of sliding plates or lames, which are attached with sturdy steel rivets. The thighs have rolled edges and the knee pieces have flower -shaped, slightly concave steel reams that have been held on the sides. At the back, each leg is equipped with three riveted, adjustable leather belts about 3 mm thick, with brass buckles for a comfortable, tailor -made fit.

Maintenance & Care
Prevent rust by oiling your armor regularly. If necessary, easily remove rust with black sandpaper.

Attach plate armor & malie parts
To keep your malie parts or plate armored in place, it is best to attach leather laces to your wambuis and attach them to the armor / malia. The armor then stays in place during fighting.

Tip: how to adjust the owner's finish and weapons
Luxury (polished) - Polishes the steel with metal polishing agent or toothpaste. With this you can even polish an article. First test on a small surface!
Handmade (mat) - Place the steel for 40 minutes to 20 hours in Cola. Check the mat regularly. Equalize the finish with black sandpaper.
Antiques (patinated) - Place the steel for a while in a damp environment (preferably outside) and let it rust. Brush the red layer rust away, the corroded top layer remains.

NB. After completing the product yourself, guarantee and return right. Celtic Webmerchant is not liable for the elaboration of the aforementioned methods.
