Dice were already used from 5000 BC and they probably originated in South-Asia. They offered Romans, Germans and medieval knights the possibility of passing their time with games and gambling.
This set of three dice is historically made of animal bone. This doesn't make them precise, but it does make them historically correct! Their sides measure 10 to 12 mm.
