Product description

This Windlass Steelcrafts bar mace is based on a type of medieval mace of which not many originals have been found. Yet they were used all over Europe. The original mace has been found in the River Thames and is dated to approximately 1300. This is a heavy and effective melee weapon. With this mace, one could blow holes in knight armor and smash helmets to cause serious injury. This mace has a large pommel for extra balance and a specially shaped handle. Please note: this mace is quite heavy (approx. 2.5 kg). This mace is made of tempered 1065 carbon steel with a hardness of 48-52 HRC.
