This medieval fork is based on various originals. This model was already in use by the Romans, an original is part of the collection of the British Museum. It was used by the Vikings like the original at the
National Museum of Reyjavik. Meat forks like these are depictured at the Medieval Maciejowski bible. This iron fork has a claw which can be used to take meat out of stews. A very important addition to every re-enactment, living history kitchen.
