Product description

"This is based on an original from the 1st century AD found in Leuwen (Gelderland), Netherlands. This is of Scott type B and has a scabbard of Scott type A. The blade has a similar formation to the Mainz gladius type.

The grip and parts of the included scabbard are adorned with brass fittings. The steel parts are made from hand-forged carbon steel. The is 33.5 cm long, with a blade measuring 21 cm in length and up to 5.2 cm in width. Weight is approximately 0.9 kg.
