Product description

The manica is a piece of armor for the arm that was used by gladiators and legionaries. People did not have a lot of money to spend on such equipment, so mainly materials like linen, leather, chain pieces and residual steel plates were used. In the Roman army they could even forge this themselves in cases of emergency. This manica is made of brass and consists of overlapping steel plates. The manica protects the arm from the shoulder to the hand. It has an extra brass protection plate for the hand and a leather interior for extra wearing comfort. The manica has four leather straps and a ring for fastening it to your arm and armor. The straps are adjustable in size. A beautiful replica for Roman re-enactment & gladiators.
