This Roman belt fitting is based on a 2nd century original Roman trumpet fibula excavated in Gwent, Wales. These styled trumpets were frequently used motives in Late Roman art between the 2nd and 4th century.

This belt fitting is handmade of brass. It is approx. 4 cm wide.
