Product description
This tunic is made based on various examples of Roman tunics from the second half of the 1st century BC to the second half of the 1st century AD. Examples can be found on Roman gravestones in Bonn, on the Luxor fresco in Egypt, and in the excavations of Legio VIII Augusta at the fort of Vindonissa in Switzerland. This tunic is made of sturdy cotton. Originally, tunics had no sleeves. Some tunics were made from more fabric, which naturally formed sleeves. Legionaries wore tunics in various colors, including red.
