This votive statue is a replica of several Roman originals from the 2nd century AD. Votive statues were used by the Romans for worshipping their gods. The statues were kept in their house altar (Lararium) and worshipped as a representation of the goddess.
The goddess Minerva symbolizes wisdom and war (tactical war). Minerva was one of the more important gods in the Roman pantheon.
This statue is made of alabaster and is bronzed and its height is 14 cm. It can be painted.
