The American pioneers also liked to use the tomahawk, because it was a practical tool and an excellent throwing weapon. The US military still uses the tomahawk as a tool and melee weapon during the Vietnam War and the Iraq War. This axe is perfect for outdoor and indoor axe throwing. The axehead is hand-forged from strong tempered 1065 carbon steel and traditionally mounted in the shaft with a wedge.
