This Viking disc fibula is made in the Urnes style. An Urnes style dragon ending in a knot motive is depicted on this fibula. Brooches like this were mainly worn between the 10th and 11th century. This disc fibula is a replica of an original excavated in Norway. It is completely handmade of bronze and has a diameter of 5 cm. This is a typical example of the Urnes style that originated in Norway. This jewel has a diameter of approx. 5 cm, it is made of bronze and it weighs approx. 21 grams.
