Product description

This lucet is a replica of a 9th century original found in Sømhovd in northern Norway. Throughout the Viking World, lucettes like these were used to spin thread and wool. The original is made of whale bone, this one is made of bovine bone. It is engraved just like the original and made from the same type of bone.
