Product description
This throwing axe is modeled after various 9th- and 10th-century Scandinavian originals. The axe head is classified as a Petersen Type L. The blade is similar to that of Type K. This type of axe was possibly originally developed for woodworking and was in use from approximately 940 to 1200 AD.
It features a rosewood handle. The axe is 33 cm long, with a 10 cm blade, and weighs approximately 0.3 kg.
