Product description

The chaperon is a medieval headdress that was mainly worn by the lower classes of society during the early Middle Ages. Around the end of the Middle Ages, richer people also started to wear fashionable chaperons. This luxurious chaperon is made of a wool mix and protects your head, neck and shoulders against wind, rain and cold. A nice accessory for when you will be re-enacting or LARPing in the winter or just on a cold day. The chaperon is beautifully decorated on the edges with embroidered vine patterns. You can fasten the chaperon with the woollen cords so that it stays comfortably in place. It has a long-pointed hood in medieval style.
