Get the look: Barbarian fighter

In the vast wilderness of the realm of Lagoria, where the wind whistles through dense forests and the mountains proudly rise from the earth, a girl was born among a people of warriors and hunters. Her name was Freya, and from her early youth, it was clear that she was different from the others. While her peers played with simple weapons and learned how to hunt, Freya felt an irresistible urge to show her strength, to perfect her skill with axe and bow.

Growing up amidst the rugged lifestyle of her people, Freya was soon admired for her indomitable willpower and her determination to become the best warrior she could be. She trained tirelessly under the starlit sky, her muscles shaped by hours of hard work and battles against imaginary foes.

But her path to glory was not without obstacles. As she prepared for her future as a seasoned warrior, her tribe was threatened by a growing darkness. A malevolent warlike tribe, known as the Shadow Warriors, loomed on the horizon. Driven by greed and a desire for power, they plundered neighboring villages and brought entire communities to their knees.

Determined to protect her people, Freya rose as a beacon of hope amidst the threat of the Shadow Warriors. With her sword in hand, she bravely led her fellow warriors into battle against the darkness, her strength and determination a source of inspiration for all who followed her.

But although she achieved many victories, Freya was plagued by doubt and fear. She wondered if she would ever be strong enough to fully protect her people, to permanently dispel the threat of the Shadow Warriors. Despite her inner struggle, she continued resolutely, her belief in her ability to triumph over evil unwavering.

Freya is a female human barbarian fighter. 

A true barbarian fighter wears boots. In this ensemble, Freya wears leather boots with a rubber sole for extra grip and convenience at festivals.

In this barbarian fighter ensemble, we have chosen a simple skirt. We cut it open on two sides and made it into a battle skirt. The slits provide Freya with more freedom of movement in her battles.

Freya wears two different belts. We did this so she can easily carry more items such as weapon holders. 

Freya travels as a barbarian fighter through the wilderness and fights a lot. Fingerless gloves protect the hand but ensure she maintains a perfect grip. As a result, they do not get in the way, for instance, when climbing mountain walls. 

The armor in this barbarian fighter composition can be worn both with and without gorget. 

Also for the pauldrons, you can choose to wear the armor with or without pauldrons. The pauldrons are attached to the gorget and therefore provide good freedom of movement. Even without clothing underneath, they can be worn comfortably. 

The armor of barbarian fighter Freya consists of three parts: the chest armor, the gorget, and the pauldrons. This armor can be worn either directly on the skin or over a tunic. We have elaborated on both configurations here.

Hidden at her belt, Freya carries a set of three barbarian fighter throwing knives that are housed in a leather holder. Freya can draw and use these with lightning speed.

The advantage of this barbarian fighter  quiver is that it can be worn both on the back and around the belt at the waist. On the back is certainly advisable for visiting festivals, so it is never in the way. But at LARP events, around the belt has the advantage that the arrows can be drawn more easily.

We gave Freya one of our shortest versions of longbows. We mainly did this because otherwise the ends of the longbow would extend beyond the studio area. It is certainly useful, if you often participate in photoshoots, to choose a slightly shorter model bow.

Freya carries a axe that she captured from a Dark Elf. She wears this around the belt as one of her many weapons.

As shield, our Barbarian fighter wears a buckler. She once bought it from a merchant in the city when she stayed there for a few days to pursue someone.
