Many generations ago, a young, curious Drow enjoyed wandering through the many tunnels around his home in the Underdark. One day he wandered too far and ended up in the lair of a green dragon. The green dragon had never met a Drow, but had heard of them. He couldn't resist adding the young Drow to his collection of servants. From that point, there are many different stories about how the Drow not only escaped but also received the gift of draconic magic from the green dragon.
Upon returning with his new powers, his family quickly rose in social status. Until, centuries later, a civil war among the Drows nearly wiped out the family. The few remaining members of the once-powerful family fled the Underdark and hid in a dark forest just outside the Underdark. No one knows how many Drow from the Draconic bloodline still exist... however, they are still there. And one of them is Eclavyl'uit Noquath.
Blouse
When our Drow is busy in her hut in the misty forest, she wears only a fairly simple outfit. A simple blouse forms a good basic on which you can further build a character outfit. By adding layers and accessories, you can create different versions of a character in a very simple way.
Skirt
This basic look of our Drow Eclavyl'uit Noquath also consists of a long, brown skirt. Drow looks are often associated with a dark color palette, with colors like black, silver, dark purple, etc. But we wanted her blood connection with the green dragon to be visible in the look. Therefore, we decided to use more earthy colors, as would be logical in a forest.
Shoes
Living as an outcast in a dark, gloomy forest means that luxury is not high on the priority list. Shoes must be sturdy and comfortable when living in the forest, not particularly chic. A simple pair of ankle boots is perfectly adequate for a Drow.
Wrap Dress
Of course, our Drow Eclavyl'uit Noquath doesn't stay alone in her secret hut in the forest. When she ventures into the woods, she wears a wrap dress over her blouse and skirt. Like the skirt, this wrap dress has a colour that matches the forest environment in which she resides. It also features an elegant knot pattern around the edges.
Belt
Because the wrap dress essentially functions as a coat, it is important that it remains closed. Therefore, Drow Eclavyl'uit Noquath wears a belt over the wrap dress.
Dagger and holder
Although our Drow Eclavyl'uit Noquath is a sorcerer and has magic to fight with, she is cautious in using her magic. After all, the only reason her family still exists is because she remains hidden and cautious. She will use her magic when necessary, but her first line of defense will always be the weapons she carries with her. Like the pair of daggers she wears on her belt.
Mace
Although Eclavyl'uit Noquath is skilled with her daggers, they are sometimes not sufficient. For those occasions, she carries a mace. Although she agrees that it is not the most refined weapon, it is certainly effective.
Belt accessories:
It would not be very practical to have to hold the mace in hand all the time. Our Drow Eclavyl'uit Noquath has a leather weapon holder on her belt where she keeps her mace until she needs it. She also has a leather pouch on her belt, where she stores small items and valuables, and perhaps even spell components.
Backpack
While a small pouch is a great place for a Drow to store small items, it is not very practical when you need to carry larger objects. Whenever Eclavyl'uit Noquath has to go into the forest to gather food and other supplies, she makes sure to bring her backpack.
Drow magic staff
As a Draconic Drow sorceress, Eclavyl'uit Noquath can use certain spells and types of magic without the need for tools. But for some spells, a magic staff helps her control the magic better or be more precise.
Wig
Drow have two distinctive physical characteristics. Their unusual skin color and their silver-white hair. A wig is an easy way to achieve that unnatural hair color.
Ears
Drow, as a type of Elves, have long pointed ears. The ears we have used are originally from a neutral colour, but can be painted. A big advantage is that they come with Mastix spirit glue:

Other necessities:
Bodypaint
To achieve the blue skin tone of the Drow, we used two products. For the basic, we used a body spray paint and for the face and finishing touches, water-based makeup. The paint can also be used to color the ears.
