How do I maintain my helmet for reenactment & LARP

When you participate in LARP or reenactment, you wear your helmet frequently. Therefore, it is important to regularly care for your helmet. After your helmet has gotten wet from the rain, it is especially important to care for your reenactment helmet. Dry your helmet, remove any rust with a black sandpaper, and apply ballistol to your helmet. It may happen that rivets, the helmet inlay, or leather straps get damaged. These can be easily removed. Replacement parts are available from us. You can also replace your textile helmet inlay with a leather helmet inlay if needed.
