Product description

This Viking helmet is inspired by the 10th century Gjermundbu helmet. Spectacled helmets such as these were worn throughout the Viking world between the 8th and 11th centuries. Several fragments have been found such as in Gjermundbu, Yarm, Tjele, Lokrume, Kyif. The chain mail coif is made of unriveted round rings. Daeze helmet is equipped with inlay and chin strap. This Viking helmet has a chainmail coif. The chain mail hood is made of unriveted round rings. The helm insert can be removed to create more space in the helmet.
