Product description

The longsword was often used as a weapon of war, but also as a means of self-defense in times of peace. In combination with a dagger, the longsword was an excellent defense against robbers, thieves, infantry, assassins, and even against bands of marauders roaming the land. Its sharp point allowed it to be used as a stabbing weapon, and its moderate weight made it easy to handle and carry. This weight also allowed it to be used with one hand while holding a dagger in the other. When necessary, it could also be wielded with both hands for a powerful strike. It is a beautiful and functional sword with a steel pommel and crossguard. The grip is made of wood and wrapped in leather and steel wire.
