This dadao is based on several originals. This dadao has a long history as a Chinese weapon and was often used in wars. Originally it was a farmer's weapon and the finish was kept as cheap as possible. However, the dadao was so efficient that it was even used until 1930 in the Chinese Japanese war.
This dadao has a length of 95,25 cm with a 56,5 cm blade. Just like the originals, this weapon is characterized by powerful cutting abilities. It weighs 1049 grams and its point of balance is situated 11,4 cm below the grip.
