Product description

This sword is made after several 15th century hand-and-a-half swords. One of these models is nowadays part of the collection of Musée de Cluny.

This sword is developed by the makers of John Lee, when it is sharp it is perfectly suited for cutting tests and blunt it can be used for intensive sword fighting. This sword is unique and even the leather of the grip and the scabbard is more similar to the expensive models of Valiant Armoury than to other models in its price range. The leather of the grip strongly resembles the leather used for several originals.

This sword is delivered blunt, it weighs approx. 1,3 kg. The blade is made of 4310 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 HRC. The blade has a length of 92 cm and has a good flexibility. The sword has a total length of 119 cm and has a cross-guard with a width of 21 cm.

This sword is perfectly suited for the re-enactor, collector and sword fighting schools.

This sword is an Oakeshott type XVII.
