Product description

The Cold Steel Arming Sword is based on swords that were used during the 100 Years" War between England and France. The sword is developed to serve as a melee and stabbing weapon to pierce through the narrow openings of plate armor. During the era that spears and longbows dominated the battlefield, the medieval knight depended on his lance after using his sword. The result was often close combat depending on life or death.

Cold Steel has made this sword as accurately as possible after the qualities of original swords. The sword has a blade made of 1090 tempered carbon steel. This version of the Arming sword is made for cutting tests and martial arts. The blade is razor sharp and bronzed as extra protection from rust and damaged that can result from use.
