Product description

Inspired by the design of Arbedo, this sword is intended for cutting competitions involving rope, cardboard tubes, tatami mats, and similar soft targets. The blade is thin, wide, and double-edged, hand-forged from 1055 high carbon steel with a hard tempering, and is delivered fully sharpened and polished. For enhanced control and leverage during ambitious cutting tests, this sword features a sturdy grip covered with leather, suitable for one or both hands. To protect your fingers and parry opponents, a simple but effective double quillon steel guard is included. To balance the broad blade, it comes with an attractive flared, lozenge-shaped steel pommel and is packaged in a durable black leather scabbard with matching steel fittings.
