Product description

This sword is based on a 13th century original used during the late Crusades. The original is now part of the collection of the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. This traditional one-handed sword has an Oakeshott type 1 pommel with a cross motif engraved on it. It has a wooden grip that is decorated on both sides with brass rings. This sword comes with a wooden scabbard covered with leather. The blade is made of 1075 carbon steel with a hardness of 45 HRC in the core and a hardness of 50 HRC at the edges. This makes the sword both flexible and strong.
