Product description

This sword is based on a 13th century original. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the Royal Armouries in Leeds. This sword is an Oakeshott type XII and was one of the first swords with a blade for both stabbing and slashing. Swords like this were used all over feudal Europe and were worn during the era of the crusades. Swords of this type have been excavated all over Europe and even as far as in Israel. It is delivered inc. scabbard.
