Product description

This is a replica of a Corinthic-Italic helmet from the 5th century BC. This type of helmet was particularly popular during the Archaic period: the 8th to 6th century BC. From the 5th century BC on people preferred the Thracian helmet which offered a better field of view. In Italy the helmet was worn during the Roman Kingdom period by the Romans and Etruscans.

This helmet is an Italic-Corinthic replica without a crest holder. It is made of 1,3 mm thick bronzed steel. It has a leather inlay for wearing comfort and a chin strap for fastening. The helmet is suitable for a head circumference up to 61 cm and it weighs 1,3 kg.
