Product description

This is a replica of a Roman intercisa from the 4thcentury AD, found in Berkasovo (Servia). The original is made exceptionally luxurious and is inlaid with gemstones. Presumably it belonged to a Germanic aristocrat who served in an auxilia of the Roman army.

The helmet is made of brass and inlaid polished glass. It has a neck plate and two cheek plates and is lined with red leather. The helmet weighs approx. 4 kg and has a styled crest. The helmet is suitable for a head circumference up to 60 cm.
