Product description
The ear dagger or main gauche was used with the left hand while the rapier was wielded in the right hand. This dagger is based on 17th-century originals. The dagger features a thick diamond-shaped blade made of 1065 high carbon steel, with a finely shaped downturned crossguard with decorative finials. These could also be used to catch the opponent’s blade, even if only briefly, to provide an opportunity for a counterattack. The grip is wrapped in steel. The matching scabbard is covered in soft black leather.
