This gladius is a replica of a gladius Pompeii type. Swords like these were used by the legions of imperial Rome.

This gladius is 73 cm long, with a blade of 49 cm long and 5,5 cm wide. The hilt is made of wood and bone. The sword comes with a wooden scabbard, covered with leather and decorated with brass ornaments. Weight 1,3 kg.
