Product description

The Roman Gladius was unmatched in close-quarters combat, offering a perfect balance of cutting ability and stabbing power. Its simple design and practicality made it the weapon of choice for the Roman army, and it became a standard issue sidearm due to its effectiveness in battle.

This version features a longer blade for increased reach, reflecting the elevated status of Roman officers. The hilt and scabbard are elegantly designed, fitting for higher-ranking soldiers. Brass accents adorn the wooden guard and pommel, with a Caesar's medallion set into the plastic grip. The double-edged blade arrives factory sharpened. The scabbard, with a wood core and leather wrapping, is complemented by high-status brass fittings, including a lion's head on the central belt attachment harness.
