Product description

This leather armor is made based on remnants and depictions of the Greek Linothorax. The Linothorax was worn by both the ancient Greeks and the Macedonians and surrounding peoples. The armor was lighter and cheaper than a breastplate and was widely used. This Linothorax is directly inspired by the glorious armor of Greek Hoplites from Athens and Sparta who fought against the Persians or against each other during the Peloponnesian War. Later, it was also worn by the famous phalanx soldiers of Alexander the Great's army and by many members of his elite companions in the shock cavalry. This direct inspiration from the rich ancient history makes it a must-have for your personal collection.
