Product description

This saber was designed for HEMA, historical European Martial arts. The saber, a characteristic curved sword with a sharp edge, found its roots in the cavalry cultures of the 17th century. Originally designed as a weapon for use on horseback, the saber later evolved into a symbol of military elegance and finesse in 19th-century dueling and officer ranks. This is equipped with a protective basket. It has a blade with medium flexibility. This is the most common type of blade used for HEMA tournaments. The blade can have a maximum pressure of 11 to 12 kg. This pressure is considered safe at most HEMA tournaments. The tip has a thickening for extra safety.
