Product description

A beautiful rapier by Windlass Steelcrafts, made after historical swords from the 17th century. Such rapiers were mainly used for dueling. The grip is wound with steel wire, which ensures that it remains firmly in the hand during sword fighting. The top and bottom have a ring of braided steel wire. The basket protects the hand from being hit. This rapier is delivered including a scabbard with engraved Renaissance art motifs. The semi-sharp blade is forged from tempered 1065 carbon steel with a hardness of 48-52 HRC. A great sword for on the wall and for rapier collectors. Also beautiful for a three Musketeers Cosplay Costume or for reenactment of the Golden Age. When you blunten the blade, you can use it as a training sword and for Historical European Martial Arts.
