Product description

This medieval sword is a replica of an original from the 13th century. The original sword is typed as an Oakeshott Type XII and is displayed in the St. Annen-Museum, Lübeck. The sword is quite long for a Type XII single-handed sword and these types of swords were used by the Crusaders in the High Middle Ages. The blade of this replica sword is made of EN45 spring steel and has a riveted pommel. The grip has a steel cross-guard, grip with a wooden core and red leather wrapping. The sword comes with a red leather scabbard.
