Product description

This leaf-shaped spearhead is a replica of Early Medieval Germanic originals.

Spears like this were called framms by the Germanic peoples, while the Romans referred to them as framea. This type of spear was one of the most important weapons of the Germanic tribes and was used both for thrusting and throwing.

During this period, Celtic tribes and Roman auxiliaries also used similar spearheads. Spearheads of this kind were later used by the Vikings as well.
