Product description

The main-gauche was used all over Europe between the 16th and 18th century. They served mainly as left-handed weapons combined with a rapier. This main-gauche is provided with an extra rounded cross-guard, as a result it can easily be used for parrying and blocking thrusts from swords and rapiers. It is provided with a finger ring. The main-gauche is elegantly finished with a bone handle. It has a length of 44 cm with a blade of 27 cm and it weighs approx. 0,5 kg.
