Product description

This beautiful hand-and-a-half sword or bastard sword is an asset to collectors and re-enactors. The sword has a wooden grip wrapped in brown leather and a wheel pommel. It has a full tang with a riveted pommel. The blade is forged from spring steel tempered to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 48-50 HRC, the edge and tip are blunt and the sword is suitable for light sword fighting, sparring and re-enactment. The long fuller runs almost all the way to the tip, which results in a strong reduction in weight. It is delivered including a beautiful brown leather scabbard made of high-quality vegetable tanned leather with hand-finished authentic details. The scabbard has a carrying belt with brass buckle.
