Product description
Robust reconstruction of late medieval shoes, based on findings from London dating back to around 1380 AD. Each shoe is equipped with three laces for fastening at the instep. The upper leather, measuring 2 mm in thickness, is sewn using a technique known as a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole comprises multiple layers of cowhide leather. This modern construction delivers an authentic turnshoe appearance, while simultaneously providing increased stability and durability. These shoes are available in a range of sizes, which are standard European measurements. However, the shoe's shape is relatively narrow, particularly around the toes. If you happen to have wider feet or simply prefer a slightly roomier fit, we recommend opting for a size up. With this product, emphasis is placed on both comfort and an authentic aesthetic, enabling you to confidently and stylishly navigate your upcoming LARP event, reenactment, cosplay, or medieval and Viking festival.
