Product description

Only from the 11th century on the medieval swords developed a cross-guard and the design remained the same during the period of the crusades: a cross shape with a slim blade where the pommel could have different shapes.

The carbon steel blade of this sword is forged in the grip and is fastened to the pommel. There is a fuller over the largest part of the blade for flexibility and balance. The disc pommel and the cross-guard are made of steel. The length of the sword is 88 cm, the length of the blade is 70 cm and it weighs 1600 grams.

This sword is an Oakeshott type Xa.
